
What is Beehive?
Beehive is a web platform written in Rails 4 designed to facilitate the matching of students to research positions offered by faculty and researchers at UC Berkeley. Beehive uses tags and user-specified parameters to suggest research positions for students, manages the application to jobs by students and allows for the submission of a resume and/or transcript in the research application.
Roles at Beehive
- Backend Developer - Develops new features for Beehive including improvements to infrastructure, notifications, data monitoring and analytics.
- Frontend Developer - Develops new frontend functionality and improvements to user interface and user experience.
- Marketing/Branding - Promote Beehive to gain more active users and researchers and build Beehive brand.
